Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Front Office Manager at our prestigious hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused professional to support the Front Office operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences in one of the world’s most exciting hospitality destinations.
- Assist in managing daily Front Office operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest services
- Lead and inspire the reception team to create memorable and effortless experiences for our guests
- Coach and develop team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment
- Work closely with the Duty Managers to implement selling strategies and maximize occupancy rates
- Support the Front Office Manager in various Head of Department tasks, including compliance and departmental budgeting
- Monitor and optimize room rates, manage overbooking levels, and ensure maximum revenue generation
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and appearance in the Front Office area
- Stay updated on local attractions, events, and services to provide informed recommendations to guests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, preferably as a Duty Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and coaching
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create memorable guest experiences
- Proficiency in front desk operating systems, preferably Opera; understanding of GDS is a plus
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Flexible with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, sound decisions
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
- Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates
