Logistics Executive (Transport) will oversee the planning, coordination, and management of transportation activities within the Plant Hire & Rental Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with project teams, plant hire coordinators, and external transport vendors to ensure seamless delivery and collection of machinery.
- Optimize transport routes, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor fleet utilization, maintenance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present transport-related reports, budgets, and cost analysis to division leadership.
- Ensure compliance with local transport regulations, company policies, and safety guidelines.
- Manage and develop the transport team, including drivers, dispatchers, and coordinators.
- Resolve operational challenges such as delays, breakdowns, or damages during transportation.
- Support cross-hiring initiatives by coordinating timely transfer of equipment between projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years experience in transport management.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, transportation regulations, and plant rental operations.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and transport management/reporting tools.
