Your responsibilities as a document controller
- You act as the first point of contact for multiple project teams, the customer and subcontractor with questions about the document management system (DMS) and the project documentation.
- Within the project team, you bear ownership of the DMS and instruct the parties involved in its use.
- You are responsible for registering and processing project documentation and distribution to the customer and external parties.
- As an integral part of the project team, you proactively report to the project team and the client about the status of incoming and outgoing documents.
- You actively identify problems and bottlenecks with regard to both the documents and the functioning of the DMS.
Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as a document controller, if you have:
- At least a secondary vocational education.
- Work experience in roles such as document control or IT.
- Knowledge of Document Management Systems and MS Office applications (Excel, SharePoint).
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Finnish is a must.
