Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Housekeeping department in Dubai, the Housekeeping Runner is responsible for maintaining the housekeeping stores, replenishing floor pantries, delivering guest requests, and ensuring that all public and back-of-house areas are well-stocked and organized. Housekeeping Runner reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

As a Housekeeping Runner, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintain stock and pantry levels, ensuring supplies, linens, and amenities are organized, replenished, and aligned with required standards.
• Handle guest deliveries and special requests promptly, ensuring all items are presented and delivered according to luxury service expectations.
• Remove soiled items and equipment from rooms and pantries, ensuring proper handling and storage without damage.
• Conduct regular inventories for mini bars and pantries, restocking water, amenities, and guest supplies as needed.
• Support room preparation by placing missing items, updating traces, and assisting Room Attendants and supervisors with additional duties.
• Uphold all service, safety, and quality standards while maintaining effective coordination with colleagues and ensuring courteous, discreet guest interaction.

As a Housekeeping Runner, we expect from you:

• Holds at minimum a Senior High School Diploma; vocational training in hospitality is a plus.
• Brings at least one year of luxury hotel experience, preferably in housekeeping, with Middle East and pre-opening exposure considered advantageous.
• Demonstrates strong technical capability with systems such as Actabl/Alice, Oracle, IBS, and Microsoft Office.
• Communicates clearly in English, with additional language skills such as Arabic viewed favorably.
• Shows excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the physical ability to manage demanding tasks.
• Maintains a professional presence and is flexible with schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
