Restaurant Hostess

Overview

Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts.

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.

Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with reservations and waitlists.

Provide information about the restaurant’s menu, specials, and services.

Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy.

Manage and update customer databases with accurate information.

Track and analyze customer feedback and interactions to improve service.

Implement and manage loyalty programs and promotions.

Assist in creating and executing customer engagement strategies.

Address and resolve customer queries and issues in a timely manner.
