Job Summary:

The waiter/waitress provides attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests, ensuring a smooth dining experience from arrival to departure. This role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting overall restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities: –

– Greet guests warmly and present menus

– Explain menu items, daily specials, and make recommendations when needed

– Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the system

– Serve dishes and drinks promptly and in accordance with service standards

– Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the meal

– Handle guest questions, concerns, or complaints professionally

– Process payments and issue receipts

– Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas

– Follow food safety and hygiene regulations

– Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service

– Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to multitask and work under pressure

– Positive attitude and commitment to excellent service

– Basic math skills for handling payments

– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
