Full job description
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and quality standards.
- Assign duties and create daily work schedules based on occupancy and operational needs.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment; manage inventory and place orders as needed.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to housekeeping staff to maintain service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations and staff appraisals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
