Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception & Seating:
  • Warmly welcome guests as they arrive.
  • Manage waitlists and reservations efficiently.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Communicate estimated wait times to guests.
  • Reservation & Guest Management:
  • Take reservations over the phone, online, or in person.
  • Maintain an organized seating chart and dining flow.
  • Assist with accommodating special requests or seating preferences.
  • Customer Service & Guest Experience:
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a courteous manner.
  • Ensure guests are comfortable and direct any special needs to the appropriate staff.
  • Communication & Coordination:
  • Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inform servers of newly seated guests and special requests.
  • Monitor dining area cleanliness and report any issues to management.
  • General Front-of-House Duties:
  • Keep the entrance, lobby, and host stand clean and organized.
  • Assist with setting up tables for reservations if needed.
  • Process takeout orders and answer customer inquiries about the menu.
