Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Supervisor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our hospitality operations, you will oversee the daily activities of the laundry department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of laundry attendants, ensuring productivity meets required standards
• Manage the processing and distribution of clean linens, towels, and other items to various hotel outlets
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and folding machines
• Implement and maintain quality control measures for all laundry processes
• Train and mentor laundry staff on proper procedures and techniques
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laundry facility
• Collaborate with other departments to meet the hotel’s linen and uniform needs
• Address and resolve customer concerns related to laundry services
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in laundry operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Laundry Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• In-depth knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, and best practices
• Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain processes
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to make quick decisions
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to laundry operations
• Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory and scheduling
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management are a plus
