Job Description
Plumber
- Install water supply and drainage systems in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry areas
- Repair leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes, faucets, and toilets
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues to minimize disruptions
- Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety and compliance
- Install and maintain water heaters and boilers for hot water supply
- Ensure plumbing supports sanitation and hygiene standards (e.g., grease traps)
- Connect and maintain appliances like dishwashers, ice machines, and washing machines
- Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and management teams
- Maintain records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training program
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and health regulations
- Experience working with commercial plumbing systems, especially in hospitality settings
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment
- Good communication skills for coordinating with teams and reporting issues
