About The Role

Prepares drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards, anticipates and addresses guests’ service needs, and thanks guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  • Takes proper orders, serves guests, and handles cash operations as required.
  • Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks.
  • Issues, opens, and serves wine/champagne bottles.
  • Stocks of ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Restocks the bar with liquor and supplies.
  • Transports supplies to the bar setup area.
  • Removes soiled wares from the bar top and tables and places them in designated areas.
  • Secures liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Provides a high standard of quality and efficient/friendly service.
  • Handles guest inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  • Establishes a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationships.
  • Manages the stocks and set up for the bar in line with brand standards.
  • Ensures equipment remains clean and in good condition.
  • Prepares and serves beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
  • Has full knowledge of all bar products and cocktail recipes.
  • Collects all general requisitions and food and beverage requisitions.
  • Adheres to opening and closing procedures established for the outlet and checks beverage stock.
  • Ensures that the bar counter and surrounding area are always kept clean and organized.
  • Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and completes safety training and certifications.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports the team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to other employees’ concerns.

Experience & Educational Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree or its equivalent.
  • Vocational certificate or diploma in Food & Beverage or Bar.
  • HACCP certified
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in handling Point of sale (POS) terminals and Stock & Inventory management software.
