About Us
We are a growing café offering specialty coffee, baked items, and continental dishes. We are looking for a multi-skilled Barista who can confidently prepare coffee beverages, bake pastries/sweets, and assist with basic continental food preparation.
Key ResponsibilitiesBarista Duties:
- Prepare espresso-based coffees, teas, cold drinks, and signature beverages
- Manage the coffee station, maintain equipment, and ensure consistency in drink quality
- Take customer orders with a friendly and customer-focused approach
Bakery & Sweets:
- Prepare and bake basic pastries, cookies, and sweet items
- Assist in developing new baked products for the café
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking prep area
Continental Food Prep:
- Support in preparing light continental dishes (pasta, sandwiches, salads, breakfast items)
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
General Duties:
- Maintain stock levels and report shortfalls
- Ensure cleanliness of the café and workstation
- Work well with the café team and support during busy hours
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista
- Must have hands-on experience in baking and basic sweets preparation
- Experience in basic continental food preparation is required
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Immediate joiners preferred (optional)
