Role Overview

AZKA Global is looking for a Trading Associate who can be a core member of the founding team. This person must be resourceful, analytical, spontaneous, and capable of handling multiple verticals as the company scales.

You will lead key parts of our trading, operations, research, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, prospect and onboard global commodity buyers from interested markets (hydrocarbons, petrochemicals, fertilizers, minerals, equipment, etc.)
• Build and maintain pricing models, sourcing comparisons, margin sheets, and risk dashboards
• Prepare trade proposals, cost sheets, presentations, and reports
• Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, logistics partners, and internal teams
• Execute end-to-end trading documentation & follow-ups
• Track KPIs, trade performance, and P&L
• Identify new products, markets, and trading expansion opportunities
• Mentor, guide, and oversee the intern’s work
• Manage multiple day-to-day operational tasks as part of a lean team

Required Skills & Qualities

• Excellent Excel & data analysis capability (must)
• Strong research and data interpretation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Time management and multi-tasking proficiency
• Ownership mentality ability to run tasks independently
• Good communication & presentation skills
• 1–3 years of experience in trading, finance, supply chain, consulting, or related fields
• Bachelor’s in Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar
• Knowledge of trading operations/logistics is a plus
