Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all uniform and tailoring requests from staff in line with hotel policies and grooming standards.
- Perform accurate alterations, repairs, and adjustments on staff uniforms ensuring proper fit and presentation.
- Maintain an organized inventory of all uniforms, accessories, and linen items.
- Issue, receive, and record uniforms for all employees in the system, ensuring accurate tracking and accountability.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, update stock levels, and report shortages or damaged items.
- Ensure all uniforms are cleaned, pressed, and stored properly to maintain quality and longevity.
- Coordinate with Laundry, Housekeeping, and relevant departments to ensure timely availability of uniforms.
- Assist with fitting sessions for new employees and ensure proper tailoring based on job requirements.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, workmanship quality, and confidentiality regarding staff information.
- Assist in ordering new uniforms, managing size ranges, and liaising with suppliers when required.
- Deliver excellent service and maintain a professional and supportive experience for all team members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in tailoring, garment alterations, or uniform room operations in a 4- or 5-star hotel is essential.
- Strong sewing, cutting, and garment repair skills with attention to detail.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and time management.
- Proficiency in uniform management systems and basic computer skills is an advantage.
