Job Description

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and workstations.
  • Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper segregation of clean and dirty items.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
  • Organize and restock kitchen supplies, such as detergents and cleaning materials.
  • Collect and dispose of garbage following hygiene and safety standards.
  • Separate waste according to recycling guidelines.
  • Keep garbage rooms clean and odor-free.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP or equivalent).
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to hotel/restaurant safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Service focused personality is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service
