General Accountant

Full job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of all financial records.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and tax filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial and management reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must have 2 – 4 years in the role.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Accounting, or Professional certification
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Quick books (would be added advantage)
  • Preferably from F&B Industry
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset.
