Royal Joinery / Royal Wood Factory manufactures doors, kitchens, wardrobes, cladding, hotel furniture, and related wood products. The company operates a large-scale facility with various production and office departments.

Job Summary
The Help Desk Support role provides technical assistance to employees, resolves IT-related issues, and supports daily system operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to help desk requests by phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Assist with software installation, updates, and basic application support.
  • Support users with network connectivity and system access problems.
  • Create and manage user accounts, email setups, and access permissions.
  • Maintain logs of issues, resolutions, and equipment records.
  • Assist in routine system checks and basic IT maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with senior IT staff or external vendors when issues require escalation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Previous experience in IT support or help desk is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
