Royal Joinery / Royal Wood Factory manufactures doors, kitchens, wardrobes, cladding, hotel furniture, and related wood products. The company operates a large-scale facility with various production and office departments.
Job Summary
The Help Desk Support role provides technical assistance to employees, resolves IT-related issues, and supports daily system operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to help desk requests by phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other devices.
- Assist with software installation, updates, and basic application support.
- Support users with network connectivity and system access problems.
- Create and manage user accounts, email setups, and access permissions.
- Maintain logs of issues, resolutions, and equipment records.
- Assist in routine system checks and basic IT maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with senior IT staff or external vendors when issues require escalation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Previous experience in IT support or help desk is preferred.
- Basic understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
