Logistics Assistant

In This Role, You Will:

  • Receive inbound shipments, verify the contents against purchase orders, and inspect for any damages.
  • Record all stock movements (inbound, outbound, transfers, adjustments) in our inventory management system.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to reconcile system data with actual stock.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse and stockroom, ensuring items are stored in their designated locations for easy retrieval.
  • Prepare stock for dispatch: pick, pack, and stage items for delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels and flag shortages or excess inventory for reordering or redistribution.
  • Assist with returns, damaged goods, or obsolete inventory, and document discrepancies.
  • Communicate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to coordinate inventory flow.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting trends, variances, and potential issues.

What we expect of you:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory clerk, or stock control role.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Willingness to support stock operations for the MENA region.
