Based at the Emirates palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Rooms Division department, The Club Lounge Executive is responsible to meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous Front Desk services and courteous Club Lounge service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The Club Lounge Executive reports to the Club Lounge Manager.

As Club Lounge Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Greet guests warmly, escort them promptly to their rooms, and provide courteous assistance throughout their stay.
  • Perform efficient and professional check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, accurately, and courteously, ensuring all needs are followed up and completed.
  • Coordinate and arrange guest service requirements by working closely with Concierge, Housekeeping, Telecommunication, Reservations, Room Service, and other departments.
  • Assist guests in all areas of the hotel and ensure timely delivery of requested items and services.
  • Handle guests’ incoming and outgoing correspondence, including messages, mail, and facsimiles.
  • Address guest preferences and special requirements using information from guest history profiles.
  • Protect guest privacy and maintain strict confidentiality of all guest information.
  • Maintain full knowledge of hotel services, facilities, operating hours, restaurant concepts, menus, dress codes, room types, amenities, layouts, and locations.
  • Stay updated on daily arrivals and departures, as well as local events, attractions, and holiday schedules.
  • Promote and upsell hotel services, facilities, and outlets when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting colleagues and departments to ensure delivery of exceptional service.
  • Work closely with the Concierge team to support the delivery of personalized Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi service standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of departmental equipment and supplies.
  • Handle the cash drawer in accordance with the MOHG Controller’s Manual and verify cash float amounts at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Communicate clearly with the Accounts Department and maintain sufficient knowledge of accounting procedures to support guest and management requests for historical data.
  • Analyse and resolve guest issues using good judgment, while remaining calm, courteous, and professional.
  • Maintain a confident, professional image and ensure all interactions reflect the hotel’s service standards.
  • Perform any additional reasonable duties assigned by the Club Lounge Manager.

As a Club Lounge Executive, we expect from you:

  • Previous experience in the same role in a luxury hotel is required, resort experience is a plus
  • Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred
  • Strong and Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering personalized guest service
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages is an advantage
