We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement / Purchasing Assistant to support our sourcing and purchasing activities for interior fit-out projects. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and compare prices for materials, tools, and services required for ongoing interior fit-out and joinery projects.
  • Prepare, review, and process purchase requests and purchase orders in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain and update the supplier/vendor database while fostering strong, reliable supplier relationships.
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding quotations, material availability, delivery timelines, and order status.
  • Coordinate closely with project and site teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely supply of materials.
  • Track, monitor, and update delivery schedules, purchase documentation, and procurement logs.
  • Support periodic inventory checks and ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the construction or interior fit-out industry.
  • Good understanding of materials used in joinery, MEP works, and interior fit-out projects.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-up and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, project-driven work environment.
  • UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
