Zahr Freighters is seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to join our logistics team in Dubai. This role is ideal for individuals who have strong attention to detail and can manage warehouse operations efficiently while maintaining accuracy in inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of all items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
- Prepare and issue materials based on delivery notes or requisitions.
- Conduct routine stock checks and assist in periodic inventory audits.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for stock replenishment.
- Monitor stock movements and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse or logistics training is a plus.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a storekeeper or in a warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
