Job Description

We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver – Light Vehicle to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating light vehicles to transport personnel, goods, or documents to various locations throughout the city and surrounding areas.

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all local traffic laws and regulations
• Transport personnel, goods, or documents to designated locations in a timely manner
• Plan optimal routes using maps, GPS navigation, and knowledge of local road networks
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and any incidents or delays
• Assist with loading and unloading of items when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients
• Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle at all times
• Adapt to changes in schedules or routes as needed
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s road network and traffic regulations
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in reading maps and using GPS navigation systems
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Physical fitness to handle potential loading/unloading tasks
• Defensive driving certification (preferred)
• Previous experience as a light vehicle driver (preferred)
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and caution
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Goal-oriented mindset with a commitment to punctuality and efficiency
