We’re looking for an Arabic speaker.

As a Waitress/Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by providing food and beverage orders to guests while ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You will also prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, in a fast-paced environment. A passion for customer service, coffee, and teamwork is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
• Provide a high standard of service while maintaining a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Educate customers on menu items, including coffee options, snacks, and specials.

Waitressing Duties:

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them to the appropriate tables.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their meals and drinks, offering refills or additional items when needed.
• Set and clear tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guest.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide change when necessary.

Barista Duties:

• Prepare a variety of coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) and other beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow health and safety standards when handling food and beverages.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with kitchen staff, baristas, and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, restocking supplies as needed.
• Support other staff in tasks as needed, including opening/closing duties.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
• Experience as a barista, with knowledge of coffee drinks and brewing methods, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers.
• Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding role.
