Overview
The Graduate Project Manager will assist senior managers in project planning, coordination, financial control, risk management, and reporting. The position also involves supporting design reviews, managing sub-consultants, and ensuring technical coordination across disciplines.
Your role
- Help in the overall management of the project.
- Support in the preparation of the project quality plan.
- Help in the preparation of progress reports.
- Aid in project planning and programme updates.
- Help the project manager in the financial control of the project.
- Maintain risk register.
- Instigate design reviews.
- Aid in the appointment and management of all required sub-consultants or other services.
- Help in the technical co-ordination with discipline heads.
About you
Technical Competencies
- Experience in Engineering Design.
- Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes.
- Reasonable knowledge of the following software: project planning software and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Behavioural Competencies
- Experience in working within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary design team.
- Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.
Education & Experience
- Degree qualified – minimum requirement of BE or other professional qualification.
- Family book is mandatory for UAE nationals.
