Overview

The Graduate Project Manager will assist senior managers in project planning, coordination, financial control, risk management, and reporting. The position also involves supporting design reviews, managing sub-consultants, and ensuring technical coordination across disciplines.

Your role

• Help in the overall management of the project.
• Support in the preparation of the project quality plan.
• Help in the preparation of progress reports.
• Aid in project planning and programme updates.
• Help the project manager in the financial control of the project.
• Maintain risk register.
• Instigate design reviews.
• Aid in the appointment and management of all required sub-consultants or other services.
• Help in the technical co-ordination with discipline heads.

About you

Technical Competencies

• Experience in Engineering Design.
• Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes.
• Reasonable knowledge of the following software: project planning software and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Behavioural Competencies

• Experience in working within a team.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.

Education & Experience

• Degree qualified – minimum requirement of BE or other professional qualification.
• Family book is mandatory for UAE nationals.
