About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Assistant with hands-on knowledge of restaurant POS systems and software to support our group’s restaurants, cafés, and catering units. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day technical operations, troubleshoot IT and POS issues, and ensure smooth functioning of all technology systems across our outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for POS systems, printers, and restaurant management software.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Support network setup and connectivity across outlets.
- Coordinate with vendors for POS maintenance, upgrades, and licensing.
- Manage user accounts, access control, and data backup.
- Maintain records of IT assets and ensure system security compliance.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in F&B or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems (Micros, Omega, Aloha, or similar).
- Familiarity with restaurant back-office and inventory software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple branches.
