Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Replenish stock as necessary, placing orders to avoid shortages.
2. Receiving & Inspection
- Receive deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and inspect for damages.
- Ensure all deliveries are recorded accurately; report and return discrepancies or damaged items.
- Maintain organized storage areas, labelling items clearly and keeping them in designated locations.
3. Issuing & Tracking Supplies
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to construction personnel as requested.
- Track the movement of inventory items to ensure accountability and minimize loss or theft.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including issues, returns, and transfers.
4. Warehouse Maintenance
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Ensure all materials are stored in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Regularly check and maintain tools and equipment for any damage or wear.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
- Document any incidents, discrepancies, or issues related to inventory or supplies.
- Assist in preparing for audits by ensuring all records and documentation are up-to-date and accurate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years as a Store Keeper in the UAE construction industry
- Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
