Full job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate records of materials, tools, and equipment, including receipts, issues, and returns.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies to management.
  • Replenish stock as necessary, placing orders to avoid shortages.

2. Receiving & Inspection

  • Receive deliveries, verify quantities and quality, and inspect for damages.
  • Ensure all deliveries are recorded accurately; report and return discrepancies or damaged items.
  • Maintain organized storage areas, labelling items clearly and keeping them in designated locations.

3. Issuing & Tracking Supplies

  • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to construction personnel as requested.
  • Track the movement of inventory items to ensure accountability and minimize loss or theft.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including issues, returns, and transfers.

4. Warehouse Maintenance

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Ensure all materials are stored in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Regularly check and maintain tools and equipment for any damage or wear.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
  • Document any incidents, discrepancies, or issues related to inventory or supplies.
  • Assist in preparing for audits by ensuring all records and documentation are up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years as a Store Keeper in the UAE construction industry
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
