Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and develop purchasing plans accordingly.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms and conditions for contracts and agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using appropriate software systems.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards is preferred.
