We are looking for Assistant Chef
Duties
- Food preparation: Preparing ingredients for recipes, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and setting up cooking stations.
- Cooking: Cooking dishes as directed by the head chef and ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner.
- Kitchen management: Assisting with inventory, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders for supplies.
- Cleaning and organization: Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including sanitizing equipment and food preparation areas.
- Safety and compliance: Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Staff supervision: Supervising and delegating tasks to other kitchen staff, such as cooks or kitchen assistants.
- Presentation: Ensuring the final presentation of dishes is appealing and meets quality standards.
