Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and support cafe staff, including baristas and waitstaff, ensuring efficient and friendly service.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Training: Train new employees on cafe procedures, customer service standards, and health and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, striving for high customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and that the cafe is clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Financial Duties: Assist with cash handling, banking, and end-of-day financial reporting.
  • Marketing: Implement and promote cafe events, specials, and promotions to attract and retain customers.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure smooth cafe operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
