Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and service-oriented Waiter/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and support front-of-house operations. Arabic-speaking candidates are highly preferred to ensure smooth communication with our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with warmth, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, making recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
- Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to maintain service standards.
- Ensure tables are properly set up and dining areas are clean and presentable at all times.
- Communicate effectively between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Support the training and motivation of junior service staff to maintain team performance.
- Monitor service quality, table turnover, and guest satisfaction during shifts.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and service standards.
- Assist in inventory control and reporting to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a waiter, head waiter, or supervisor in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Strong understanding of hospitality, food, and beverage service standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example and work efficiently under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage Service preferred.
- Prior experience in fusion or fine dining cuisine is an advantage.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software is desirable.
