Job Responsibilities:
- Design and execute innovative menus featuring authentic Uzbek, Tajikistan or Kurdistan or Russian or Ukraine cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet fine dining standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain excellence and consistency in every dish.
- Source premium ingredients and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Monitor inventory, food costs, and wastage to achieve financial efficiency.
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to the highest hygiene and safety standards, complying with UAE regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus, specials, and event-specific dishes.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and integrate them into the restaurant’s offerings.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and strive to exceed their expectations.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of proven experience as a Chef, specializing in Uzbek, Tajikistan or Kurdistan or Russian or Ukraine cuisine, in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern cooking techniques for Uzbek, Tajikistan or Kurdistan or Russian or Ukraine dishes.
- Creative flair for menu development and presentation.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of European languages is an advantage.
- Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences.
