Position Summary
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall presentation of guest apartments and public areas in accordance with Marriott brand standards. This role is essential in ensuring that every resident and guest experiences a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service apartments, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities while ensuring proper room setup and attention to detail.
- Replenish guest supplies such as water, coffee, and toiletries daily.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
- Handle guest belongings with care and maintain privacy at all times.
- Follow all housekeeping policies, including safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and trolleys are clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
- Support the team during busy periods and assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Uphold Marriott’s Cleanliness Champion standards and sustainability commitments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeper in a 4- or 5-star hotel (Marriott experience preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and guest service orientation.
- Ability to communicate in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to handle daily cleaning tasks.
- Positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and professional appearance.
