We are seeking an experienced baker to join our kitchen, specializing in traditional Mediterranean flatbreads, particularly manakish. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, and baking, with a strong understanding of Mediterranean baking techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, knead, and bake flatbreads to consistent quality standards
  • Manage dough fermentation, proofing, and baking times
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet daily production needs
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld

Requirements:

  • Prior professional baking experience is a must, preferably in Mediterranean or Middle Eastern bread-making
  • Strong knowledge of dough handling and oven techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
