Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming goods and shipments for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of received items in designated locations.
  • Record and update inventory systems promptly upon receipt.
  • Prepare Inbound reports.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch to customers or internal departments.
  • Ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare Outbound reports.
  • Conduct regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages to supervisors promptly.
  • Assist in stock rotation to prevent damage, obsolescence, and waste.
  • Arrange all items in their designated places within the warehouse for easy access and retrieval.
  • Control the quantity of items to maintain minimum stock levels and avoid overstocking.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization to prevent damage or loss of materials.
  • Release items as per shop requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to documentation procedures.
  • Double-check that all items are securely packed and loaded onto vehicles for delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storage areas.

Physical Working Conditions:

· Primarily warehouse-based with occasional outdoor tasks.

· This role involve physical activities, including lifting, moving, and handling goods as part of daily operations.

· Requires the use of equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if necessary)

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Proven experience in inventory management or as a storekeeper preferred.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse procedures.

· Physical stamina to handle heavy objects and prolonged periods of standing or movement.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

· Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

· Familiarity with safety and storage regulations.

· Warehouse work requires teamwork, and staff are expected to support one another, especially during peak periods or when covering for team members on leave.
