A Leading Transport & Logistic Company is looking for Heavy Truck Mechanic with Mechanical Engineering background to work with us in our Ajman Office. We are looking for the ideal candidate who must be well knowledgeable about Mechatronics & able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Volvo Trucks.

Job Description:

• Able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Volvo trucks
• Transmission repair, Manuel and Automatics included
• Clutch repair and replacement
• Break repair, ranging from air to hydraulics along with diagnostics
• Able to configure and use onboard vehicle diagnostic (OBD) and test equipments.
• Able to do full component testing (identify and resolve the faults).
• Able to repair components
• Common rail injectors (CRI/CRIN) and common rail pumps (CP)
• Unit injector systems (UIS) and unit pump systems (UPS)
• Electronically controlled distributor pumps (VP, VE-EDC)
• Conventional (mechanical) distributor and nozzle holder assemblies

Requirements:

• Ability to perform maintenance and repair of company-owned VOLVO trucks & systems including engines, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes, axles, and more.
• General knowledge of auto, truck, trailer, and/or equipment mechanics.
• General knowledge of refrigeration systems (auto, truck, & reefer)
• Knowledge of computerized diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of DPF systems, emissions and burn-offs
• Troubleshooting Diesel Engines (VOLVO trucks), Electrical & Air Brake Systems, and Manual /Automatic Transmissions.
• Bachelors in either Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering will be preferred. Diploma holders can also apply.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Any Nationality prefered – All benefits would be provided as per UAE law.
