Job Summary:
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the automotive facility, including workshops, offices, showrooms, customer areas, and restrooms. The role ensures a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize offices, workshops, customer waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas daily.
- Ensure cleaning of automotive workshop floors, removing oil spills, grease, and waste safely.
- Empty and clean trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of showrooms, ensuring vehicles and display areas are spotless.
- Clean windows, doors, and glass partitions regularly.
- Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies (soap, tissues, air fresheners, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness around the parking area and vehicle display zones.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines, especially when handling chemicals or cleaning agents.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs (leaks, damages, etc.) to the supervisor.
- Support during events, vehicle deliveries, and customer visits by ensuring a tidy environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum education: High school or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience as a cleaner, housekeeping staff, or janitor (experience in automotive or industrial settings preferred).
- Basic understanding of cleaning materials, tools, and safety procedures.
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good attitude and respect for safety and company property.
Work Environment:
- Work includes both indoor and outdoor areas (offices, workshop, showroom).
- May require working early mornings or late hours depending on operations.
- Use of cleaning equipment and materials as per company safety standards.
