About the Role


The Traffic Department Helper supports the daily operations of the traffic department by assisting in the coordination and monitoring of vehicle movements, loading and unloading of goods, documentation, and communication with drivers and internal teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods or traffic flow management, depending on the organization’s scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling and dispatching vehicles based on delivery and transport plans.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to routes and timelines.
  • Help prepare, review, and distribute transport-related documents (e.g., waybills, delivery notes, driver logs).
  • Support the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
  • Monitor traffic conditions and report any issues or delays to supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively with the warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the transport area or traffic office.
  • Follow safety protocols and assist in enforcing traffic regulations within company premises or job sites.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks and report issues to the relevant department.
  • Provide general administrative support to the traffic department as assigned.


What do we need from you

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or a similar field is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of transport regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts if required.
  • Physical ability to lift items and assist in loading/unloading activities.
