Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and secure the assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entry/exit points and restricted areas.
  • Operate and monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV, alarms) as required.
  • Check and verify identification of visitors, contractors, and staff where applicable.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and report to supervisors or law enforcement as needed.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports.
  • Enforce company rules, regulations, and safety policies.
  • Assist during evacuations, fire drills, or other emergency situations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent.
  • Prior security experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
  • Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures is an advantage.
