The Store Helper assists in receiving, organizing, and issuing supplies, materials, and equipment in the storage area. This role supports the Storekeeper in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the store, and facilitating smooth daily operations.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a store or warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure proper labelling, stacking, and storage of items according to category (dry, chilled, frozen).
- Ensure proper handling of perishable and non-perishable goods.
- Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy items.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and company procedures at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Support the Storekeeper or Supervisor in any other related tasks.
