Job Purpose
To deliver excellent customer service by identifying customer needs, offering professional advice, and demonstrating suitable products. The role focuses on building relationships with key customers, ensuring store standards are upheld, and driving sales targets while cultivating customer loyalty.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Welcome customers and identify their needs through effective questioning.
- Recommend and demonstrate appropriate products, including link sales, and close sales transactions.
- Provide professional service at the till point and follow up with regular customers.
- Advise customers about ongoing promotions in-store.
- Offer Facial Massage services (by prior appointment) to select customers to strengthen relationships, cultivate loyalty, and boost sales.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
Brand Standards & Grooming
- Maintain personal grooming standards in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with product and hygiene guidelines as per the operating manual.
- Merchandise products according to brand requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping standards, including attractive window displays.
Stock & Operations
- Rotate stock to ensure older items are displayed before new arrivals.
- Check stock levels daily and recommend replenishment orders to the Department Manager/Supervisor.
- Complete all store and office administration accurately and on time, including managing customer database cards.
Job Requirements
Education/Certification & Continued Education
- Training in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology
Years of Experience
- 1 to 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience in the beauty industry
