Job description:
Main Tasks:
Control the documents and data control activities/movements.
– Maintain an up-to-date Database Register showing document details and revision status.
They control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieval of both electronic and hard-copy documents produced by technical teams, projects, or departments.
-Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.
-Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
-Receiving and sorting daily mail.
Document Management:
- Maintain, manage, and track project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, method statements, and reports.
- Ensure proper organization and categorization of documents for easy retrieval.
- Control the issuance, revision, and distribution of documents in accordance with document control procedures.
Skills:
- Excellent administration skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in document control within the construction industry.
- Customer service skills
- Confident using a computer
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Strong verbal communication skills.
