Position Overview:
The Exhibition/Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events and exhibitions. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless execution of events.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute events such as exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, seminars, workshops, and corporate functions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and preferences.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation.
- Oversee event setup, registration, attendee communication, and on-site management.
- Be available on weekends for on-site event coordination as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Provide exceptional service throughout the event planning and execution process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of events, client interactions, and sales activities.
- Generate reports on event outcomes and related metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in the event or exhibition industry.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively to team goals.
- Flexibility to work during peak event periods and adapt to changing schedules.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
