Kitchen Helper

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
  • Help with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Support the kitchen staff in various tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure setting
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
