Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and purchase orders. The ideal candidate will optimize procurement processes, control costs, and ensure timely supply of goods/services to support our trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve cost savings.
- Manage end-to-end purchase order processes, from requisition to delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement cost control measures.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and resolve supply issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
- Experience in sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, SAP) and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in trading or supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
