Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming building materials and supplies.
- Verify materials received against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Organize and maintain the store area for easy identification and access to materials.
- Issue materials and tools to site teams based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
- Monitor stock movement and report shortages or discrepancies to the procurement or accounts team.
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safe storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct regular stock checks and prepare monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with the purchasing and site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper (preferably in building materials or construction industry).
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and hardware.
- Good computer skills (Excel, inventory software, ERP systems preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
