Job Description

  • Patrol hotel premises regularly to ensure safety and security of guests, employees, and assets.
  • Monitor CCTV systems, fire alarms, and access control systems, reporting any irregularities immediately.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire, medical situations, or security threats.
  • Control access to restricted areas and verify identification when necessary.
  • Prepare and submit accurate incident reports and daily security logs.
  • Assist guests and colleagues courteously while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
  • Support evacuation procedures during emergencies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Report and handle lost and found items as per hotel policy.
  • Conduct bag checks or vehicle inspections when required.
  • Liaise with local authorities when necessary and support investigations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all security matters and sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit, alert, and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control).
  • Valid security license or certification (if required by local authorities).
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
