What you’ll do

• Operate tanker trucks to transport liquid cargo to designated locations.
• Load and unload freight safely, ensuring all cargo is secured properly.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.
• Utilize manual transmission skills when operating various truck types.

Basic qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement.
• Experience driving tractor-trailer units with a focus on tanker operations.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.
• Proficiency in operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of load and unload procedures for different types of freight.
