HR Manager

Role Summary

The HR Executive/Manager will be responsible for implementing HR policies, managing recruitment, handling employee relations, and ensuring compliance with UAE labour law. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a diverse workforce, and experience in the fit-out and interiors industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for office and site staff (engineers, foremen, technicians, labour, and admin).
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Handle onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.

2. HR Administration & PRO Coordination

  • Maintain employee files, contracts, and HR database.
  • Coordinate with the company PRO for visa processing, renewals, cancellations, and Emirates ID applications.
  • Handle medical insurance, leave records, and end-of-service settlements.

3. Employee Relations & Labour Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Ensure fair and transparent handling of disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive work environment across office and site teams.

4. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and DM/DDA regulations where applicable.
  • Draft, implement, and update company HR policies.
  • Advise management on HR best practices and legal requirements.

5. Performance & Training

  • Support line managers in setting KPIs and conducting annual appraisals.
  • Identify training needs and arrange workshops for both technical and soft skills.
  • Encourage employee development and career progression.

6. Payroll & Compensation

  • Collect and process attendance and timesheets for salary preparation.
  • Coordinate with Finance for WPS salary transfer.
  • Manage overtime, leave encashment, and other allowances as per UAE law.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience in the UAE, preferably in fit-out, interiors, or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance.
  • Experience managing site labour and multi-national workforce.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software (ERP/HRMS preferred).

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with DM, DDA, and Dubai Municipality regulations.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
