We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site and promote a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures on site
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
• Report hazards, unsafe practices, and incidents to the Safety Officer/Supervisor
• Help in preparing safety reports and maintaining safety documentation
• Assist in reporting, filing, and maintaining all safety documentation and correspondence in an organized manner
• Support in delivering toolbox talks and basic safety training to workers
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Monitor compliance with local safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain clear records of safety-related incidents and activities

Requirements:

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory
• Diploma or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a safety-related role
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices
• Good communication and observation skills
• Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor/site conditions
