We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively manage a team and ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assign tasks to housekeeping staff and inspect work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
- Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Inspect rooms regularly to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and guest service standards.
- Manage staff schedules, monitor performance, and addressing any disciplinary issues.
- Control inventory of cleaning supplies, ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, and provide reports to superiors.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, performance reviews, and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel safety and security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A Driving license is a bonus.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is desirable.
